1. About these terms
These terms apply to Padel Park Open Days and celebration days, such as the One-year celebration on Sunday 6 December 2026. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. By booking a session, registering for the kids’ activation, or checking in at the door, you agree to these terms (and if you book for others, such as your group or your children, you agree on their behalf).
2. It’s free, but booking is essential
Everything on the day is free. Places are limited, so you need to book to secure a spot in a session. The walk-in court and the kids’ activation don’t need a booking.
3. Your booking and your Padel Park account
To lock your booking into our court schedule, we add you to our client list and create a Padel Park booking account for you (in MatchPoint, our booking system) if you don’t already have one, using the name, email and mobile you give us. You may get an email from MatchPoint when we do. Once your booking is in our schedule, your session is locked in. If we can’t do this, for example because the details you gave us are incomplete, we can’t guarantee your place.
4. Courts and times
We’ll do our best to put you on the court and at the time you picked. On the day, courts and times aren’t guaranteed: we may need to move you to another court or adjust times to keep everything running. Sessions are 30 minutes (tasters and coaching tasters) or one hour (evening court hire), and a timer goes at the end of each one: please hop off promptly so the next group can start. Please arrive 10 minutes early and check in at the desk. If you haven’t arrived within 5 minutes of your session starting, we may give your place to someone who’s waiting.
5. First-hit tasters are not coached
First-hit tasters are a chance to give padel or pickleball a go at your own pace. They aren’t coaching or a supervised class: rackets, paddles and balls are left on the court for you, and our team will be around to help if you have questions. Coaching tasters are run by our coaches.
6. Cancelling and waitlists
If you can’t make it, please cancel using the link in your booking email so someone else can have your place. When a place comes up, the next person on the waitlist is moved in automatically and emailed. If you’re moved in from the waitlist, you’re booked.
7. Children
Children are welcome. Under-16s need a parent or guardian to book or register for them, and under-14s must be supervised by an adult at the venue at all times. The parent or guardian agrees to these terms for the child, including the photos and video section below.
8. Photos and video
We’ll be taking photos and video on the day. By booking or checking in, you agree that we can use photos and video of you (and of any children you book for) on our website, social media and other Padel Park marketing, without payment. We won’t name you without asking first. If you’d rather not appear, tell our team on the day, or email office@padelpark.nz afterwards, and we’ll leave you out or take it down.
9. Keeping in touch and your feedback
We’ll email you about your booking and any changes to it. Two days after the day, we’ll send you a thank-you with a few quick feedback questions: your answers help us understand what we did well and what to do better next time. We’ll also add you to our list for Padel Park news and offers, so we can tell you about what’s on, unless you tick “Don’t send me Padel Park news and offers” when you book or check in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to stop them.
10. Prize draw
Everyone who checks in at the door gets one entry in the prize draw. If you name someone who has never played when you book, and they check in and aren’t already on our client list, you and they each get one extra entry. The draw is made on the day by our team. Prizes are as shown on the event page (for the One-year celebration: two $100 Padel Park vouchers), can’t be swapped for cash and can’t be transferred. We’ll contact winners by email or phone; if a prize isn’t claimed within 14 days, we may draw another winner. Spot prizes on the day are given out at our team’s discretion.
11. Safety and behaviour
Our Terms and Conditions apply on the day, including health and safety, behaviour and your belongings. Padel and pickleball are physical sports with a risk of injury: warm up, play within your fitness, wear suitable shoes and follow our team’s instructions. You may be paired with people you don’t know, which is part of the fun: please be kind and welcoming.
12. Changes
We may change the programme, times or sessions, or cancel a session, if we need to. If a change affects your booking, we’ll email you.
13. Questions
Email office@padelpark.nz or ask our team on the day.
