Kids Clinic

Four mornings of padel and pickleball with our certified coaches. Ages 14–18, all skill levels welcome. Equipment, drinks and snacks included.

Event details

A four-morning clinic for teens, designed to introduce, develop and lock in the fundamentals of both padel and pickleball in a structured, supportive environment. We split the time across the two sports so kids leave with a clear idea of which one suits them best — and usually a few new mates to play it with.

Across four sessions your teen will work with our certified coaches in small groups — 8 kids maximum, with a 1 coach per 4 kids ratio — so everyone gets proper attention regardless of where they're starting. Coaches assess every kid on day one and re-group through the week so each player is working at the right level for them: beginners get more time on fundamentals; experienced players get more tactical and competitive work.

All equipment is provided — rackets, paddles, balls, the lot. A drink and a small snack are included each day. Drop off and pick up at reception. Parents are welcome to stay in our hangout area (good coffee, comfy seats), and kids can wait in the same space before or after their session if they need to.

What to expect

  • Teens aged 14–18
  • Any skill level — from absolute beginners who've never picked up a racket to teens already playing competitively
  • Anyone curious about padel or pickleball who wants to try both before deciding which one to stick with
  • Kids who do better in small groups with attentive coaching (max 8 per session, 1 coach per 4 kids)
  • Who should attend?

2 hours on court each day, split between coaching, drills and match play. Our coaches will assess everyone's level on the first day and group kids accordingly so the work is pitched right.

Both sports are covered across the four days. Each day builds on the last — by the final session, kids are running full doubles matches with coaches refereeing and a friendly mini-tournament to close out the week.

The energy is high but the environment is supportive — no shouting, no being singled out, just good coaching and a lot of laughter. Indoor courts mean it runs rain or shine.

    What to bring:

    • Court shoes (mandatory — proper grip matters on the indoor surface)
    • Water bottle
    • Activewear they can move and sweat in
    • Their own racket or paddle if they have one — but we provide all the gear if not

    SCHEDULE

    • Day 1 — Foundations. First touch on both sports. Grip, basic swings, serve mechanics. Coaches assess skill levels and start grouping.
    • Day 2 — Movement and control. Footwork, court positioning, returns and basic rallies. Re-grouping as needed so every kid is challenged appropriately.
    • Day 3 — Tactics and teamwork. Doubles play, communication, when to attack and when to defend. Energy peaks mid-week.
    • Day 4 — Match play and mini-tournament. Full doubles games with coaches running point, finishing with a friendly round-robin and prizes.

Daily times and dates are listed at the top of this page and on the booking screen. Pricing: $50 per kid per day, or $150 for all four days. Spots are limited to 8 kids per round — first in, first on the draw.

Cancellations are handled by the standard 12-hour window. If something genuine has come up inside that window, WhatsApp us on +64 28 407 8645 and we'll do what we can.
