The Weekender Match Series is a 10-week facilitated weekend competition designed for players who want great match play, a running leaderboard, and the flexibility to play when it suits - with the prize of $300 credit to the winning team.
Instead of committing to a fixed league every week, you simply sign up as a team of two each weekend. We’ll then matchmake you into the best possible game based on your level and results — so matches stay close, competitive, and fun.
With two divisions — Open and Competitive — you can choose the level that suits you, rackets and balls are provided, and every set you win earns you points on the leaderboard.

Webpage:
From the booking platform Homepage after logging in (found here), under "My Bookings", hit "Classes". Go to Saturday and you will find the Weekender Match Series.
1) Sign up weekly (as a team of two)
Register your team for the upcoming weekend.
2) Sign-ups close Thursday 11:00pm
We build the weekend matchups after entries close. Late entries may be accepted if there’s space.
3) We matchmake your game
Teams are matched by division + results to keep games fair and enjoyable.
4) Play your match on Saturday or Sunday
We’ll allocate enough match slots across the weekend for teams to play.
5) Earn points and climb the leaderboard
Points are updated weekly online and displayed on-site.
Teams self-select their division to start. We may review and adjust placements over time to keep matches balanced and enjoyable for everyone.
To keep weekend matches running on time, if a match is approaching the end of the 90-minute slot, staff may switch the final set to a faster deciding format. This keeps scheduling fair for all teams and avoids matches running over.
A no-show is when a team is not present and ready to play within 10 minutes of the scheduled match time without notifying us.
Matches can be defferred to a different date if both teams agree.
The team with the most points after 10 weeks (and meeting the minimum match requirement) wins:
$300 court credit + Babolat merch
This competition is proudly sponsored by Babolat, supporting the growth of padel and helping us bring better prizes, better weekends, and better match play to The Park.
Sign up as a team for this weekend, get your matchup, and start climbing the ladder.
Do we have to sign up every week?
No — sign-ups are weekly, so you can play the weekends that suit you. That said, consistency helps you climb the leaderboard, and you’ll need at least 3 matches to be eligible for the major prize.
How do we sign up, and when do entries close?
You sign up as a team of two each week. Sign-ups close Thursday at 11:00pm for that weekend’s matches. Late entries may be accepted if there’s space.
What days/times are matches played?
Matches are scheduled across Saturday and Sunday. We’ll allocate enough match slots each weekend for teams to play. If both teams agree to a different time, we can usually accommodate it (as long as it’s confirmed with us).
How does matchmaking work?
We create matches based on your division (Open or Competitive) and your previous results, aiming for balanced, competitive games. Teams self-select their division to start, but we may adjust placements to keep matchups fair.
What’s the match format — is it best of 3?
Matches are 3 sets played (not best-of-3) within a 90-minute match slot. You play all three sets — you don’t stop once someone wins two.
How does scoring / points work?
You earn 1 point per set won.
Examples: 3–0 = 3 pts, 2–1 = 2 pts, 1–2 = 1 pt, 0–3 = 0 pts.
Leaderboards are updated weekly online and displayed on-site.
What happens if time runs short in the 90 minutes?
To keep the schedule running on time, staff may switch the final set to a faster deciding format if the match is nearing the end of the slot.
What happens if a team no-shows?
A no-show means a team isn’t present and ready to play within 10 minutes of the scheduled time without notifying us.
No-show team: -1 point
Opposing team: +3 points
Can I change partners week to week?
Yes — partners can change week to week. To keep results tracking clean, the booking name (team captain) must stay the same, and points are recorded under that name.
Can we play more than one match per weekend for extra points?
No — only one match per weekend counts toward the leaderboard (no double dipping).
What do we win, and how do we qualify?
The top team after 10 weeks wins $300 court credit + Babolat merch. To be eligible, you must play a minimum of 3 matches in the same division across the series.
Is gear included?
Yes — rackets and balls are provided.
10 weekends. Big vibes.
Open Weekender League is for anyone — from beginners through to intermediate players — who want a fun weekend league with solid match play, regular partners, and a social competitive vibe. If you’re newer to padel or still building consistency, this is the best division to join.
Competitive Weekender League is for players who’ve got experience and want a league that brings stronger matchups and tighter competition. This division suits intermediate to advanced players who want to test themselves, play weekly with a partner, and chase the finals with a bit more intensity.
Whether you’re joining with a friend, partner, or teammate, it’s ideal for anyone who wants a weekend routine, a reason to compete, and a great way to stay connected through padel.
